Our Zircon Sand and Zircon Flour is Australian sourced heavy mineral product for the Australian market. With a resistance to corrosion, high strength, mostly chemically inert with low expansion properties and a high melting point, Zircon is commonly used in the Ceramics, Foundary sands, Refactory, Coatings, Glazing industries. It is fire and impact resistant. It is also used as a filler or bonding reinforcement in plastic and ceramic castings products. Zircon has a high bulk density and low water absorption making it an ideal filter media.
Packed in 25kg bags lots, we stock Zircon Sand 100# and Zircon Flour 200# in our Mulgrave store.
